Introducing Betty Bowen

At the age of 14, I spent the summer bed ridden with a ruptured disc. It was so severe I could not walk. I had been scheduled for surgery by the new orthopedic surgeon in town. He told my parents it was the only way I would walk again. A neighbor recommended chiropractic. I was carried into Dr. Donald Bowen’s office. After five days of care I could walk on my own. Obviously surgery was not necessary.

My chiropractor became my father-in-law. I married his son Dr. Robert E. Bowen, who also became a doctor of chiropractic. Throughout the years working in our office I have seen many miracles. Two of our children became chiropractic physicians.

I love this profession and I love helping people. Chiropractic will always be part of my life.

Hobbies and Activities: When I am not at the office. I love to walk the beach. There I find peace and tranquility. It refreshes and energizes me for the road ahead. I also enjoy supporting my grandsons at their basketball games.
